The Spring Semester Performing Arts Program builds on students' artistic growth through professional instruction from experienced Performing Arts Educators and Industry Professionals, including Choreographers, Dance Educators, Teaching Artists, Directors, Performers, and Creative Professionals. During the second half of the school year, students refine their technical skills, strengthen their creativity, and gain confidence through collaborative, performance-based learning.
This program culminates in end-of-year performances and showcases, providing students with meaningful opportunities to demonstrate their progress while developing teamwork, discipline, and stage presence in a supportive and engaging environment.
What Students Will Learn
Students participate in engaging classes that help them:
Build confidence and self-expression
Improve coordination, balance, and physical fitness
Strengthen focus and listening skills

Explore dance traditions from diverse cultures

Our curriculum supports the California Arts Standards for Dance by helping students develop artistic techniques, evaluate creative work, and make meaningful connections between dance, culture, history, and community.
Performance Opportunities
Workshop evaluations will conclude with a student showcase that celebrates growth, creativity, and achievement. These performances provide students with the opportunity to build confidence, share their accomplishments with family and friends, and experience the excitement of performing and working together as part of a team.
