Professional Industry Training & Career Development
Students receive firsthand instruction from experienced performing arts educators and industry professionals, including Performing Arts Educators and Industry Professionals, including Choreographers, Dance Educators, Teaching Artists, Directors, Performers, and Creative Professionals who bring current entertainment industry knowledge into the classroom.
Learn advanced dance techniques, industry standards, audition skills, and choreography retention.
Develop an understanding of commitment, discipline, professionalism, and work ethic required in the entertainment industry.
Experience how professional rehearsals are conducted, including taking direction, collaborating with others, and meeting performance expectations.
Build confidence, adaptability, and performance skills that prepare students for future opportunities in the performing arts, whether pursuing a professional career or continuing dance as a lifelong passion.
California Arts Standards Alignment
Our curriculum is aligned with the California Arts Standards for Dance, including:
Performing – Anchor Standard 5
Develop and Refine Artistic Techniques and Work for Presentation: Students develop body awareness, movement skills, and artistic expression through guided instruction and creative exploration.
Responding – Anchor Standard 9
Apply Criteria to Evaluate Artistic Work: Students learn to observe, reflect, and respectfully evaluate dance while recognizing different styles and artistic choices.
Connecting – Anchor Standard 11
Relate Artistic Ideas and Works with Societal, Cultural, and Historical Context: Students explore dance traditions from around the world, gaining appreciation for diverse cultures and communities through movement.
Tailored Specialized Program Proposal
Street Visions Prod. designs customized performing arts programs to meet the unique goals, schedule, and needs of each school or organization. Every program is developed in collaboration with school leadership to provide engaging, standards-based instruction that supports student growth, creativity, and artistic excellence.
Sample Weekly Workshop Schedule:
Class Duration 75–120 minutes per session
Class Capacity Minimum of 30 students per class
Session Frequency 2–3 sessions per week
